China Enterprise Confederation (CEC)
CEC serves as the Chinese representative of employers, is a non-governmental institution. CEC members are mainly enterprises, companies, entrepreneurs, provincial and municipal associations, industry associations and trade associations. Today CEC is comprised of more than 436,000 members, including all kinds of ownership enterprises and individual employers representing 34 industrial sectors in 30 provinces, 260 industrial cities and regions.


China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC)
CNTAC is the national federation of all textile-related industries and a non-profit organization formed on volunteer basis. The mission of CNTAC is to provide services in all industrialized sectors of China, in hope to accelerate the modernization process of China's textile industry.
Scope of Services:
Work out the guidelines & rules to supervise the performance of the industry
Set up & improve the self-discipline working system, and protect the interests of the industry.
Study and research the development and growing trend of the domestic and international textile industries, and participate in or provide consulting services for projects in respect to development strategies, industrial policy, technological progress & upgrading, market promotion & exploration, reform & opening up of the industry, and bridge the enterprises with the government, make recommendations & reports to the government, and provide information & consulting services for the enterprises.
Coordinate the economic & technical relations between various sectors of the textile industry to promote industrial rationalization and re-consolidation, and strengthen the industrial value-chain integration and cooperation.
Carry out international technical &economic cooperations and interchanges, conduct international visits, in-service education & training; and organize trade meetings, international conferences, seminars, and domestic and international exhibitions to expand the markets.
Participate in fixing and amending the industrial standards and organize the relevant resources to implement these standards.
Carry out the various introduction & promotion activities in the various endeavors of trade, science & technology, investments, human resources and management for textile industry.
Edit and print out various textile publications, hold various courses for professional training, and organize activities & develop them and undertake the various tasks entrusted by government.


China Association of Surfactant Soap and Detergent Industries (CASSDI)
CASSDI, founded in September of 1983, is an association including enterprises involved in the production of detergents and cleansers, relevant raw materials, additives and packages, as well as relevant organizations involved in the technical research and design, information collection, publication, specific equipment manufacturing related educational colleges and schools. Over the years, CASSDI recruited over 300 members, among which, production enterprises account for around 76% of all members, with the rest coming from technical research, specific equipment development, and educational organizations.

China Household Electrical Appliances Association (CHEAA)
CHEAA currently has 396 members located in 24 provinces and municipalities directly under the central government. The secretariat, as its standing body, is established in Beijing, the routine duties of CHEAA are managed by secretary general. CHEAA is divided into five professional committees, separately organizing and coordinating vocational activities with respect to refrigeration, air condition, cleaning, ventilation and electric heating, for which units of professional head committees take the responsibility for the tasks.


China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF)
CMIF is a national social and economic organization for machinery industry with qualification authorized and legal entity. Major members of CMIF include national specialized associations, regional associations, intermediary units, and some large enterprise groups. It has over 120 direct members and 77800 indirect members in China's machinery industry.

China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)
CAAM was founded in 1987, currently located in Beijing. It was approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People¡¯s Republic of China (MCA) to reside over the manufacturing of automobiles inside China.

As a national industry association, CAAM was established legally on the basis of equality and voluntariness, serving as an enterprise and institution dealing with the production and marketing activities in automobile, motorcycle, auto parts and related industries. Aside from the status of a legalized institution and a social organization, CAAM is also an autonomic non-profit organization regardless of sections, regions and forms of ownership. In addition, CAAM is professionally guided and supervised by MCA and other government bodies, at the same time protected by the national laws of China, bearing civil liability. The highest power CAAM has is that it is the member representative executive of the board system, with a secretariat as its standing body. The secretariat consists of 10 departments, 3 administrative commissions, and 23 branch offices.. CAAM is also a member of the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA). Through OICA, it has already established relationship strong bond and relationship with many international automobile institutions, along with many national and regional automobile associations.


China Instrument Manufacturers Association (CIMA)
As of 2009, CIMA is an association consisting of 970 group members with 848 manufacturers, 60 research institutes, 21 universities and colleges , 10 administrative firms, 7 competent departments and 24 local associated entities. CIMA members¡¯ total production values, sales revenue, fixed assets and profits contribute to 65% of China¡¯s total instrumentation industry. There are 211 governing units in the five fifth board of directors, and including 77 directing units. Inside the organization, two chairmen eleven Vice-chairmen control the organization with a strong will for achieving organizational stability and corporate success. They come from state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, CAS, Academy of Engineering, research institutes, and also prominent universities. In depth, CIMA manages 11 branches and their operations: Process Automation Instrumentation, Electrical Instruments, Optical Instruments, Analytical Instruments, Laboratory Instruments, Testing Machines, Sensors, Instrument Materials, Surveying & Mapping Instruments altogether 9 professional Sub-Associations plus Field bus Professional Committee and Business Management Work Committee. In China¡¯s comparatively developed areas of instrumentation industry such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Liaoning provinces there are also local instrument Sub-Associations and they are CIMA¡¯s group members.


China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association (CMTBA)
CMTBA, established in 1988, is an industrialized non-profit organization unrestricted by region or industry jurisdiction. It mainly consists of manufacturing enterprises in China¡¯s machine tool & tool industry and its members include state-owned enterprises (groups), non-governmental enterprises, trading and sales companies, scientific research and design institutes, colleges and universities. They join the association on a voluntary basis. As of 2009, CMTBA is composed of more than 1,650 members. Their products cover the metal-cutting machine, metal-forming machine, foundry machine, non-traditional processing machine, modular machine, CNC machine, FMC, FMS, woodworking machine, inspection and measuring machine and equipment, tool and tooling, numerical control system, key components, accessory and ancillary equipment, abrasives and grinding wheel, CBN and synthetic diamonds, assembly and manipulation equipment and industrial robot etc. The permanent organization (headquarters) of CMTBA is in Beijing. The association has set up seven working committees according to their working tasks and 25 sub-associations according to their product categories. They are distributed throughout the country.

MTBA is engaged in many activities and initiatives designed to promote the machinery industry in general by means of acting as a bridge between the government and CMTBA members, between the end users and manufacturer, and to co-ordinate partners among domestic enterprises in self-discipline. Major tasks of CMTBA include

survey and study the current situation and development trend of the machine tool and tool industry
report the requirements of the industry and enterprises to the government
provide suggestions on industry development and planning with the entrustment of the government
work out and implement technical criteria for the industry and draft measures to guarantee the quality of product
organize exchanges of management experiences and information regarding technology, economy, quality, market and operation
provide consulting services; promote domestic and overseas economic, trade and technological co-operation and explore domestic and international market
train personnel; promote the application of new technology; publish industry newspaper and magazine
organize industry information network; organize international and domestic machine tool exhibitions, etc, so as to promote the development of the industry through various forms.
Prominent State Ministries and Commissions awarded CMTBA the title of "National Advanced Industry Association" for three times in 1994, 1998 and 2001.


China National Hardware Association (CNHA)
CNHA, ratified by the State Light Industry Bureau and registered in Ministry of Civil Affairs,) was founded in 1988 as a legal entity. As of 2009, CNHA has3000 members, including key enterprises of daily-use hardware tools hardware and corporations, scientific research and design institutes. It is a trans-regional, trans-department and trans-ownership organization. Under the jurisdiction of CNHA, nine branches reside directly beneath the board of directors, including branches of: Gas Appliances, Stainless Steel Product, Locks, Cooking utensils, Smoke Ejectors, Clothing Zippers, Daily-Use Hardware, Tools Hardwares, and Building Hardware.
Under the guidance of state laws and decrees, CNHAs¡¯ aim and purpose is to play a linking role between the government and its fellow members, representing the visions and demands of the members, safeguarding their legal rights and interests, and essentially pass on the intention of the government to the members, assisting the government in trade administration and promoting the development of hardware industry. CNHA, as a member of International Federation of Hardware and House wares Associations (IHA) is willing to establish good cooperative relationships with hardware associations and manufacturers worldwide, and promote economic and trade cooperation. It has more than 1600 varieties of products. It is an important department of china light industry with production value of over 200 billion RMB and export value of over 16 billion USD in 2003. It has developed into a fully-grown industrial and exporting system in respect to its production, scientific research, marketing etc., and has made an important contribution to flourishing the hardware market, enriching supplies of hardwares and increasing foreign exchange earnings.


China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA)
CPPIA is an association of more than 2000 membership units in the plastic processing industry. The association as of now has over twenty subcommittees, including Agricultural Films, Plastics Devices for Water-saving Irrigation, Artificial and Synthetic Leather, PU, Plastics Pipes, Profiles for Windows and Doors, Injection Molding Products, BOPP Films, BOPET Films, Composite Films Products, Blown Molding Products, Woven Plastics Products, Rigid Sheet of PVC, Engineering Plastics, Fluoro-Plastics Processing, Medical Plastics, Modification Plastics etc. Aside from the subcommittes, CPPIA covers areas of research and development, processing and application in national plastics industry. The editorial board at CPPIA edits and publishes CPPIA Communications, CHINA PLASTICS, WORLD PLASTICS, CFC Substitute communication, China Plastics Industry Annual, and many more well-known journals in the plastics industry.


China Iron & Steel Association (CISA)
CISA was found in 1999. It was renamed from China Metallurgical Enterprises Management Association after a series of merges and partnerships. CISA currently has 175 collective members and 8 individual members, 105 executive members and 59 standing executive members.


China Petroleum & Chemical Industry Association (CPCIA)
CPCIA is an association based on specialized associations in the petroleum & chemical industry with twenty years of professional experience and now consists of over 200 associations and companies... This is another stride forward in reforming the Chinese petroleum and chemical industry since the tremendous reshuffle of the government functions in 1998, as a result of which, the State Administration of Petroleum and Chemical Industry was established to replace the former Ministry of Chemical Industry.
CPCIA now has 41 member associations whose scope of business covers s 70% of the overall industry.


China Building Material Industry Association (CBMIA)
CBMIA is governed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.. CBMIA is a nation-wide confederation that represents companies, organization and individuals in building and structuring the materials industries.
The major tasks of CBMIA consist of: providing services to its fellow members in accordance with the Articles of Association; protecting members' legal rights and interests; ensuring market fair competition with self-discipline mechanism; developing advanced productive forces characterized with technological advances and industry structural optimization; promoting international exchange and cooperation; providing assistance to the government for healthy development of the industries. CIBC sincerely welcomes industry professionals to join CBMIA. We believe that CMBIA will progress with time to contribute to the reform and development of the building materials industries and achieve the goal of ¡°from big to strong through innovation¡± by concerted efforts.


China Packaging Federation (CPF)
CPF is one of the China¡¯s industry federations with the approval of the State Council. Currently, CPF holds 20 professional committees, a nation-wide industrial network consisting of the local associations from provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and cities specifically designated in the state plan and major cities all over China, There are approximately 6000 group members of various levels in partnership with the CPF.


China Banking Association (CBA)
CBA was founded in 2000 as a social organization registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs. CBA, on behalf of its 81 full members and 37 associate members, brings together various categories of the banking institutions to best represent the interests of this rapidly changing and strengthening industry.


China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP)
CFLP, the first social organization of the logistics industry in China, was established in Beijing and approved by the State Council. The main purpose of CFLP is to push for the development of the logistics industry in China, boosting the development of the procurement business in regard to governments and enterprises, asumming the tasks commissioned by government. The government authorizes CFLP functions of the foreign affairs, science and technology, trade statistics and standards drafting & revising and more.


China National Light Industry Council (CNLIC)
CNLIC is a nation-wide comprehensive industry intermediary organization with service and management functions. With the wide range of representations of industry and the services, it acts as a bridge between governments and enterprises, making efforts to promote the light and energy industry to further develop in China, strengthening international exchanges and cooperations at the same time.
In the past two decades, since the reforms and loosening of capital controls, with a sustained, rapid and healthy path for China¡¯s light industry, it has made significant achievements over the past years. At the moment, the light industry¡¯s¡¯ production value, realized tax and profits and value of exports account for one third of the nation's total industrial production value, realized industrial tax , profits and the value of exports.
