Translation is not a simple conversion from one language into another. It is highly important to understand the source text in the subject field in order to translate it properly into target languages. CIBC specializes in subject translation. Almost all of our translators have technical backgrounds or come from the real industry after some years of practical experience. In addition, only native speakers in the target language areas act as our translators and editors; that is, simplified Chinese projects are handled in mainland China, English in Singapore or the United Stated. To ensure that the translation is not only easily understandable, but also professional in the subject fields, our subject specialists simulate the end user by proofreading the overall translations without referring to the source document.
